Equus for enterprise
Personal & professional development
Is spending a day with horses really a wise investment when it comes to developing employees. How is it relevant? How does it translate into the corporate world?
Thank you for taking the first step by allowing me to introduce you to the transformative world of Equus. Humans weren't designed to learn in classroom-like settings or offices. We crave an open environment that stimulates us mentally, physically and spiritually. With horses as co-facilitators, learning in nature can translate into how we want to think, feel and act at work.
Employees want to grow and develop. The number one reason people change jobs is to seek growth opportunities.
For over a decade, I've worked with companies such as Wells Fargo, GE and SunTrust Bank to provide a guided Equus experience (all ground work, no riding) designed to serve as an effective professional development vehicle that stimulates employee engagement and development in today's complex work settings.
Having been on both sides, with 20 years in finance, risk management and accounting for GE and American Express, I wanted to find a way to bridge the incredible self-actualization that occurs with Equus coaching with the #1 thing employees are begging for in the workplace today: investing in their career growth.
I hope my staff and I can serve as a valuable training resource for your team. Come spend a day with us - it’s guaranteed to be a fun, unique learning experience employees will thank you for.
WHY IT MATTERS
95% of workers are considering changing jobs, according to Monster.com
80% of workers do not feel their company offers growth opportunities
49% of employees expect their employer to play a role in their career growth
Only 35% of the workforce is actually engaged in their work, according to Gallup
34% of employees feel the best way to advance their career is to find a new job with a new employer
BUT this changes when companies prioritize developing their employees.
93% of employees would stay at a company longer if it invested in their careers, according to a report by LinkedIn
